Stephen H. Cha

Mr. Cha is a general partner at Kim & Cha LLP, and has been practicing Immigration Law since 1996. Mr. Cha is also a long time member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He has a Juris Doctor degree from Syracuse University, College of Law as well as a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse University.

Mr. Cha has worked as a law clerk for the U.S Environmental Protection Agency, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, and Atlantic Legal State Foundation, concentrating in Federal Super Fund compliance Laws, and litigation involving the Clean Water Act. Prior to becoming a partner of the firm, he exclusively practiced Immigration Law at Dryer, Dryer & Weinstock, P.C. His experience in Immigration Law includes, but is not limited to Corporate and Business Immigration, Foreign Investment, Deportation, Removal, Asylum, Labor Certification practice, Adoption, Employment-based petitions and Non-Immigrant visas. He is the author of more than 200 legal articles published in major Korean newspapers available throughout the U.S.

He has served on the General counsel for The Korean Drycleaners  Association of New York and The Korean-American Brooklyn Association of New York. Mr. Cha was also appointed as the Chairman of the TaeKwonDo Association of Greater New York.
